The fact that our deacon, the Rev. Deby Veach, is an oncology nurse at makes UAP Oncology & Hematology a natural place for St. Stephen’s reach out. Our SewNSews regularly created knitted and quilted lap robes for patients undergoing chemotherapy. In addition, our Altar Flower Arrangers rearranged the flowers after Sunday’s worship services to brighten the oncology offices. Sadly, due to a change in UAP’s policies in 2013, we’ve had to discontinue this outreach.

St. Stephen’s is across from Indiana State University. Nearby parking lots are run by ISU and are free after 5pm weekdays and are free all weekend long.
