Join us in the garden for a special outside worship service with the blessing of animals! A tradition, often tied to St. Francis, the blessing of animals is an opportunity to share in the wonder and blessing of all of God’s creation! So often we think only of our human relationships, but for many of us, it is non-human animals that provide love, companionship, and sense of connection with the wider creation.
On Sunday, October 4, we will gather for a special service to honor our creation and those loved ones who are not often given the opportunity to darken the door of our church! All animals are welcome!*
If you are unable to bring your pet or farm animal but wish for them to be included, consider bringing a picture to hold. If you have a pet you wish to be remembered who is no longer with us, we will gladly honor their memory.
Snacks will be provided for people and animals. We hope to see you here!

*As long as they play well with others! We’re willing to separate the cats from the dogs.
