On behalf of St. Stephen’s, may I wish you a Merry Christmas!
If you are looking for a worship opportunity, join us tonight at 4:00 and 9:00 for a traditional Christmas Eve Eucharist. (Eucharist means “thanks,” and this is indeed a night to give thanks.)
Our 4 pm service provides a quiet oasis in what is often a hectic night. It is perfect for you if you have obligations later in the evening or feel you need to get home before dark.
Our 9 pm service is the traditional “Midnight Mass,” although it starts and finishes a bit before.Join us to sing, pray, break bread together, and hear once more the story of shepherds, angels, and the coming of the Word made flesh.
All are welcome at both services. We love visitors! If you are traveling during this busy time, we’d love to be your church home for the holidays.
Both services are Rite II. Incense is used at the 9 pm service.
We will also celebrate the Feast of the Incarnation on Christmas Day at 10:00 am in the chapel!
And take a look at the second issue of our seasonal publication, First. It is sort of like a newsletter. You can read it online. Or if you want to download a copy to print, you can do so below!
And of course, don’t forget to share it!
