It was perfect 
weather again this year for the 2nd annual Pumpkin Festival, which was a great success thanks to the combined effort and generous donations of many. We raised more than $1150.00—good job everyone! We had numerous visitors peek inside the church for a look and to check out our “September Souls” quilt. It was a great way to share our beautiful garden and make new friends. God’s hand was all over it!
Plans are to make this an annual event, so it pays to think ahead. What kinds of autumn-themed items can you come up with to sell next year? Be on the lookout for cute crafts, containers for silk flowers, great recipes. If you shop a garage sale, maybe you can pick up seasonal items for next to nothing. The more the merrier!
